  • When will Penang Anime Matsuri tickets go on sale?
    Exhibition + Auditorium – Online ticketing starts from 3 May 2016 – 10am
    Outdoor Concert – Online ticketing starts from 25 March 2016 – 10am
    Onsite ticketing for concert starts on 20 May 2016 from 10am onwards until 22 May.

  • How can I pay for my tickets to Penang Anime Matsuri?
    Payment methods for tickets on event days to be announced.

    Online ticketing – Paypal/major credit card accepted.
    Debit cards can only be used if activated for PayPal transactions – please call your bank to activate your debit cards if you wish to use them for online processing.

    We are aware that there is a new ruling where debit cards without 3D authentication are disabled for online transactions. In that case, you will need to contact your bank directly to enable payments on PayPal. Or you may wish to use a credit card for purchase instead.
    Also, if you have a debit/credit card linked to a PayPal account, you will not be able to use that card on PayPal without logging into the PayPal account.
    The 1 USD charge is a temporary authorization used by PayPal to verify the buyer’s credit or debit card. This temporary authorization will automatically be removed from your credit card statement.

  • I’m a foreigner, how can I purchase the concert tickets?
    Tickets may be bought, both online or at the venue. Tickets (in wrist band form) to be collected from 20 May 2016 from 10am onwards at the main entrance of Dewan Sri Pinang, the event hall.

  • What are the ticketing charges for the tickets?
    There will be no additional charges on top of the ticketing price.
  •  

  • How can I collect my Penang Anime Matsuri Concert ticket(s) if I purchased them online?
    • Collection/ Redemption starts on 20 May – 22 May, 2016 at 8am in front of the event hall (Dewan Sri Pinang).

    • A two-day concert ticket comes with 21 & 22 May Exhibition + Auditorium ticket. A single-day concert ticket comes with an Exhibition+Stage ticket for the same day, either 21 or 22 May, depending on the single-day concert ticket purchased. You cannot have an Exhibition+Stage ticket different from the day of the concert ticket you have bought.

    • Ticket will be in wristband format.

    • During collection, you are required to present the following:
    The unique Peatix QR code – you can get your QR code after purchase from the Peatix app (http://ptix.co/iOS or http://ptix.co/Android) or from web browser.

    • Collection is done on a per-order basis and all tickets would be given at the same time, if more than one ticket is in the order. You may not split up the order during collection. If you wish to do so, Peatix allows tickets to be gifted to other persons. Information on how to do this can be found here: http://ptix.co/1qB3Cdd

    • The original purchaser does not need to be present to collect the wristband nor is any documentation is required if collecting on behalf of another person. As long as the QR code is presented, the wristband can be collected.

    As such, please ensure that your QR code is kept securely. The organiser and ticketing agent are not accountable if your QR code is compromised due to carelessness of the part of the consumer.

  • Do I have to register an account on Peatix site to purchase the tickets?
    You are required to register an account on the Peatix site in order to purchase tickets.
  •  

  • What if I have lost my ticket(s) or wristbands? Will you replace damaged wristbands?
    Please contact* Penang Anime Matsuri Organiser at the ticketing booth on the event day for assistance in the event of a lost ticket. Penang Anime Matsuri Organiser will not replace any lost wristbands nor wristbands that have been determined to be damaged or stick together intentionally.
    *Case will be evaluated on a condition basis.

  • How do I enter the concerts with my tickets?
    You will be required to present the wristband, on the day of the event, at the entrance of the concert venue. Failure to present will result in refusal of entry.

    Please note that all wristbands are to worn before entry into the exhibition area, stage area or concert area. Entry will be refused if wristbands are not worn before entry. Entry will also be refused if wristbands are worn loosely and can be slipped off easily. Replacements will NOT be given in these cases and you will need to purchase your ticket(s) again. Tampered tickets that are damaged and unable to be used will not be allowed any returns, refunds or exchanges.

  • Where will the ticket collection point at the venue be and what are the opening hours?
    Tickets collection/redemption will start on 20 of May 2016, 8am at the main entrance of the event hall, Dewan Sri Pinang.

  • What sort of ticketing plan is being used for Penang Anime Matsuri Outdoor concerts?
    The outdoor concerts are based on free standing, first come first serve basis.

  • Where can I collect my Exhibition + Auditorium wristband?
    • Collection/ Redemption starts on 20 May – 22 May, 2016 at 8am in front of the event hall (Dewan Sri Pinang).
    • A two-day concert ticket comes with 21 & 22 May Exhibition + Auditorium ticket.   • What time will the concerts start?
    On both days, 21 May and 22 May 2016, concert gates open at 6pm, and the concert starts at 7pm.

  • Am I allowed to take pictures or record videos during the concert?
    All recording devices, inclusive of sound and visuals, are strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to remove those caught doing so from the hall without refund.

  • I have booked Penang Anime Matsuri concert ticket(s) outside of Penang, Malaysia, can I collect my tickets during the event day at the event venue?
    Yes, you can. Please refer to the questions above on how to make your collection.
  •  

  • Can Penang Anime Matsuri Concert tickets help me gain entry to the Exhibition and/or Auditorium at the Dewan Sri Pinang Hall?
    Access to the exhibition and auditorium area come in the form of a wristband and is to be worn at all times. This wristband is given during redemption as outlined above. Please note that these wristbands will be colour-coded for a specific day.
    Please note that all wristbands are to worn before entry into the exhibition area, stage area or concert area. Entry will be refused if wristbands are not worn before entry.   • Can I get a refund or exchange my tickets?
    Please note that no refunds will be entertained under any circumstances. Once the transaction has been paid for, no refunds, no cancellations or exchanges will be entertained. Please ensure that the number of tickets you wish to purchase is correct before finalizing the transaction.
    Tickets are not transferable and may not be resold, nor redistributed or used for any commercial or marketing event, activity, promotion or purpose, without the prior written consent of SOZO and Peatix. All rights reserved to cancel any Tickets that have been transferred or resold or redistributed or otherwise used without the prior written consent of SOZO, and to deny any such Ticket Holder entry.
